Terms of Service
Last updated: February 2026
Welcome to Supperly. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Supperly website, application, and services (collectively, the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using the Service, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age (or have parental consent) and that you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you are using the Service on behalf of a family or household, you represent that you have the authority to bind all members of your family workspace to these Terms.
2. Account Registration
To use most features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Promptly update your account information if it changes
- Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
- Not create multiple accounts for the purpose of circumventing usage limits or plan restrictions
You may invite family members to join your workspace. You are responsible for ensuring that invited members comply with these Terms.
3. Free and Paid Plans
Supperly offers both free and paid subscription plans. The free plan provides access to core features with certain limitations. Paid plans unlock additional features, higher usage limits, and expanded AI credits.
- Free Plan: Includes basic recipe management, limited AI imports, and core cooking features with usage limits.
- Paid Plans: Offer increased or unlimited recipe storage, additional AI credits, advanced meal planning, priority support, and other premium features as described on our pricing page.
We reserve the right to modify the features and limitations of any plan at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of any material changes to paid plan features.
4. AI Credits and Usage Limits
AI-powered features (recipe imports, meal plan generation, nutrition scanning, playbook processing) consume AI credits. Each plan tier includes a monthly allocation of AI credits that resets on a regular basis.
- AI credits are non-transferable and do not roll over between billing periods
- Unused credits expire at the end of each billing cycle
- Exceeding your credit allocation will temporarily restrict access to AI-powered features until your credits reset or you upgrade your plan
- We reserve the right to adjust credit allocations to maintain service quality and prevent abuse
5. Community Content Guidelines
Supperly includes community features that allow you to share recipes, comments, reactions, and other content with other users. When participating in the community, you agree to:
- Be respectful and constructive in all interactions
- Share only recipes and content that you have the right to share
- Not post misleading, harmful, or dangerous cooking advice
- Not harass, bully, or target other users
- Not impersonate other users or misrepresent your identity
- Report content that violates these guidelines
6. User-Generated Content
You retain ownership of the content you create and upload to the Service, including recipes, comments, photos, and other materials (“User Content”). By submitting User Content to the Service, you grant Supperly a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to:
- Store, display, and distribute your User Content within the Service
- Share your User Content with members of your family workspace as directed by you
- Display your User Content publicly when you choose to share it with the community
- Process your User Content through AI features to provide the Service functionality
This license terminates when you delete your User Content or your account, except for copies that have been shared with or saved by other users.
7. Content Moderation
We reserve the right, but are not obligated, to review, monitor, and remove User Content that violates these Terms or our community guidelines. We may:
- Remove or disable access to content that we determine to be inappropriate
- Issue warnings to users who violate community guidelines
- Suspend or terminate accounts of users who repeatedly violate these Terms
- Cooperate with law enforcement when required by law or to protect the safety of our users
Moderation decisions are made at our sole discretion. We strive to apply our guidelines fairly and consistently.
8. Prohibited Content
You may not upload, post, or share content that:
- Contains explicit, obscene, or sexually suggestive material
- Promotes hate speech, discrimination, or violence against any individual or group
- Contains threats, harassment, or intimidation
- Is spam, including repetitive or unsolicited promotional content
- Contains malware, phishing links, or other malicious software

9. Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content (excluding User Content), features, and functionality are owned by Supperly and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Our trademarks, logos, and brand elements may not be used without our prior written consent.
Recipes are generally considered factual compilations. The creative expression in recipe descriptions, headnotes, photos, and instructional text may be protected by copyright. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to share any content you upload.

- You violate these Terms or our community guidelines
- You engage in fraudulent or abusive behavior
- Your account has been inactive for an extended period
- We are required to do so by law
Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. We may retain certain data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes, as described in our Privacy Policy.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Supperly and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:
- Loss of data, revenue, or profits

You use the Service at your own risk. Always use your own judgment when following recipes, especially regarding food allergies, dietary restrictions, and food safety.
14. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page, updating the “Last updated” date, and, where appropriate, sending you a notification. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service.
15. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with applicable arbitration rules, except where prohibited by law.
16. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, or if modification is not possible, it shall be severed from these Terms.
